News

The second ThinkLink assessment will be given to students on Tuesday, November 17th.  Please make sure your child has plenty of rest the night before the test, has a good breakfast (here or at home), and is at school on time.  This is great practice for TCAP and helps the teachers know what skills the students still need to review.
There will be a Family Night and Band Concert Monday, November 23rd from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.  Please come and support the school and listen to our band in their first perfomance this school year!
Congratulations to Mr. Charles Skinner!  He was named Downtown Nissan's Teacher of the Week by radio station 107.5 The River.  The announcement was made on the air Monday morning, November 9th at 8:30 a.m.  One of his students nominated him stating that he was a great teacher and made her also want to be a teacher, too.  Way to go, Mr. Skinner!
Thanksgiving holidays are only a few weeks away.  There is no school on Wednesday, November 25th through Friday, November 27th.
